Tony Russell-Rose

Tony Russell-Rose Tony Russell-Rose is senior principal and user experience manager at a large enterprise search firm: Endeca. Tony organises several industry-led events, including Search Solutions, which takes place annually at the BCS in London.Tony holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction.

Max L. Wilson

Max Wilson Max is a lecturer in Human-Computer Interaction at Swansea University, has had work published at several of the prior HCIR workshops and has attended 2 of them. Max holds an MEng and PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Southampton, and publishes widely in the space between HCI and Information Science.

James Kalbach

James Kalbach James is a User Experience Consultant with LexisNexis, a leading provider of legal and news information, where he develops interfaces for web-based search applications. James holds a degree in library and information science from Rutgers University, and published his book on Designing Web Navigation (O'Reilly) in 2007.

Birger Larsen

Birger Larsen Birger Larsen is an Associate Professor at the Royal School of Library and Information Science in Denmark. Birger received his PhD in Library and Information Science from the very same school, and publishes widely with a systems focus on Interactive Information Retrieval.
